Emmanuelle Marceau is Associate Professor at the School of Public Health (ESPUM), Université de Montréal. She is also a philosophy teacher and researcher at Cégep du Vieux Montréal, and a lecturer at Université de Sherbrooke. On a number of occasions, she has organized scientific events, spoken at conferences, and supported initiatives to deploy best practices in the professional field and promote responsible conduct in research. She is an associate researcher at the Centre de recherche en éthique (CRÉ), the Centre de recherche en droit publique (CRDP), and in at the Observatoire international sur les impacts sociétaux de l'AI et du numérique (OBVIA). She is a researcher in residence at the Institut des Études et de la Recherche sur le Droit et la Justice (IERDJ). She is interested in modes of governance and their interactions (applied ethics, law and deontology) from a justice-seeking perspective.
