He has made original and innovative contributions to the design, fabrication, and characterization of conducting polymers, biosensors, nanobiosensors, nanomaterials and microbial fuel cells. In particular, he has made significant contributions to the development of biosensors and nanobiosensors for clinical, environmental and food analyses, as well as in the development of microbial fuel cells (MFCs) for power generation from wastewaters. He also has on-going research interests in Internet of Things and autonomous control for vertical cultivation walls, and artificial intelligencecoupled sensing and biosensing. Professor Adeloju has published extensively in international journals, books and proceedings. He was awarded the Royal Australia Chemical Institute (RACI) awards for Applied Research Medal (2009), R.H. Stokes Medal for Electrochemistry (2011), Doreen Clark Medal for Analytical Chemistry (2013) and Citation Award for Excellence in Leadership and Service (2017). Professor Adeloju is also on the International Advisory Board for Sci Journal (MDPI), Editorial Boards for Biosensors (MDPI) and other international journals.
